Hannah and Azariah's day was one I'll never forget! It was truly such a beautiful day from start to finish.
Not only do these two have an inevitable, undeniable, unconditional love for one another, but the love in their lives over flow into every other relationship they have. This bride and groom are some of the most genuine, sweet, and loving people I've ever met. They're just the type that, if you know them, you love them. I mean, you just can't NOT fall in love with them. It's people like them on days like theirs that make me really fall in love with what I do all over again. Frankly, in a sense, it was easy for me to tell the story of their day because they're love and lives really were/are a great love story. You see, this day was apart of their long journey to becoming one flesh that wasn't always an easy one to walk through. Hannah and Azariah were long distance dating for a good majority of their relationship- and we're not talking a few hours away long distance. We're talking, different countries for most of them knowing each other type of long distance. This alone speaks how committed their love has always been, and that is such a beautiful thing. In a world of constant change, they have found their constant in each other. Weddings are so awesome, but marriage is just a lot cooler. And Hannah and Azariah's BEST moments of their day by far were, in my opinion, the ones that were fully centered around the worship of their God who was forever joining their lives as ONE. The moments of being totally overwhelmed with joy that not only was the much anticipated wedding day finally happening, but a marriage was beginning. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have real, actual tears in my eyes for a good portion of the times they were crying too. IT WAS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL AND REAL. (Also, how can you not get emotional and so full of joy when you see Azariah's face seeing Hannah walk down the isle. THAT IS SOME REAL NICOLAS SPARKS NOVEL TYPE OF STUFF.)
Thank you for being such a dream bride and groom to work with, Hannah and Azariah! You two are so inspiring and such a joy. I feel like I have gained two wonderful friends since you decided to pick me as your photographer- and I am forever thankful that you trusted me to capture this beautiful day!

Rachel and Michael's day was so sweet.
I remember months leading up to the wedding day, the only thing Rachel wanted was snow for snow pictures. Every time we spoke prior, she always mentioned how hard she was praying for snow! And of course, it went the whole day without snowing... until the most perfect time! It started to snow right after their ceremony, and before we even got to family pictures, we both saw that it was snowing out and ran for the front doors with such child-like joy to go be in the snow! We had a blast taking those snow pictures- it was like the whole wedding day process had just froze (no pun intended) and we were able to genuinely just have fun and take Rachel's dream photos for her winter wedding. I'll never forget that moment of Rachel and Michael's wedding!
Personally, this wedding was really special for me to be apart of and photographing. I actually took Rachel's maternity photos 4 years ago when she was pregnant with her beautiful daughter Renee and I was just getting started with photography. It was so special for me to now see her little girl as one of the flower girls!
Michael and his little girl came together with Rachel and her daughter to make one beautiful, very happy family. What a love story! This day was so emotional and wonderful to be apart of. Thank you Rachel and Michael, for letting me tell your story!

Natasha & Don's wedding day was beautiful in the purest way. Though it was a rainy summer day, it was the people that surrounded and supported this ceremony of Natasha and Don coming together that made this day beautifully warm and vibrant.
I first met Natasha and Don for their engagement photos last year, and we instantly connected. I love being able to shoot with my couples before the actual wedding day, because it really gives us a chance to get to know each other and get them comfortable in front of the camera. It's so important to chose the right photographer when you're looking for the person that will capture your wedding day. It's not just about price point. It's about style and personality and personal connection. To all those who are engaged and looking for a wedding photographer: keep in mind that you want to look for someone who can connect and dive into your love story. Someone that can really be able to tell the story of YOUR day.
Natasha and Don, I hope your love stays young forever. You two are a true joy to be around and I was honored to say the least to capture each step of your special day. Thank you for letting me partake in your day! Just like how the clouds cleared up just in time for us to take photos, I hope that the sunshine always peaks through just in the perfect timing for you whenever you need it most. Love you guys!

One of my biggest goals for this year was to coordinate a bridal styled shoot. I'm going to be honest with you, the main purpose of a styled shoot is usually to have your final gallery published somewhere- like on a blog or in a magazine. But regardless the outcome, I told our team that at the end of the day, we all would get GREAT content out of this shoot for our own portfolios no matter what- published or not.
To the gorgeous bridal gowns, to the lofty city-vibe studio, to the hair and makeup, to the gorgeous decor and floral arrangements, to the perfect models for the job, to the fun atmosphere that was created by having so many creative and talented personalities in one room for the day, working hard to create something new... this session was definitely something I fell in love with at every stage. From planning out every little detail, countless coffee meeting hours, and tons of communication over this shoot, I couldn't be more proud of the team we had for this!
Creating this shoot alone was such a fun process that also helped me achieve a goal of mine for this year. But then we all took the intimidating risk of sending it off to some
I love photography because it is a way to create. Capture, yes. But every once in a while, you get the chance to actually CREATE something from simple tools in front of you, or even sometimes, out of nothing. This part of my job only makes me fall more in love with our Creator, who is very definition of creativity.
This Bridal Styled Shoot was perfectly fit to the ideal style of every vendor involved; industrial, timeless, romantic, and clean. I hope this creates some wedding inspiration to all the bride-to-be's viewing this shoot :)
Another BIG goal of mine for this year was to have photos of mine published. My heart JUMPS FOR JOY to share that The Bridal Theory's wedding blog has published some highlights from this shoot! Click Here to see The Bridal Theory's blog post on this session.
For all the lovely lady vendors involved in this shoot- let's keep creating together. So proud of you!

Blogging about my amazing clients and jobs never ceases to make me stop and smile- taking a moment to appreciate what a blessed thing it is for me to get to tell people's love stories and journal about a day that changed history forever through the language of photography.
Chelsea & Aaron are two souls that are so sweetly connected. That much is evident when you're with them. Their whole day came together so beautifully and perfectly! They were such troopers in the cold of November. I was so happy to be the one to shoot their amazing day! Love these two!
Christianna & Jeremiah's day was a DREAM.
Christianna made a drop dead gorgeous bride and Jeremiah was one of the sweetest grooms I've had the privilege of working with. They both had the chillest and most relaxed spirit about them on their day. Their love is beautifully natural and authentic, that kind of raw love that everyone wants to find. In my opinion, this is how it's meant to be.
Getting to be a part of their gorgeous day was such an honor! Being around both of their incredibly sweet families and witnessing them come together as ONE to celebrate the result of love. It made me think of how special it is for me to get to capture the start of a brand new family beginning-- not just getting to capture the wedding day itself, but everything that day leads to and means!
So thankful that this couple was one of my clients this year. They were so laid back and were always down for photo ops throughout the day, no matter what my next crazy idea was. Christianna and Jeremiah are what we call a POWER COUPLE. I really can't brag enough about how awesome they are.

Sara & Alan. These two bring such a smile to my face.
Sara has been someone I've looked up to since I met her in 9th grade. Her heart is for OTHERS- always has been and always will be. She's wise beyond her years and has poured so much love and encouragement to me that I will forever be grateful for. Sara, thank you for inspiring me and pushing me to love our good Lord deeper.
Alan is the man of Sara's dreams, and I feel special to have witnessed every stage of him coming into Sara's life. When he looks at her, it is evident to everyone how much he loves her. Alan is intelligent, witty, kind, caring, and has the most brilliant New Zealand accent. I'm so happy I have gained a friend in him through being close friends with Sara.
Together, these two were such a FUN, photogenic, and sweet couple to work with on their special day. I truly feel so blessed to have been able to capture this day!
Congrats to some of my favorite people; Sara & Alan, YOU ARE LOVED.
I met Kaela a little over 2 years ago at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, CA. I remember Kaela always talking about Jonathan since the day I met her... she was always so proud that she was dating him. I've always admired their relationship and how much they respected and cared for one another. Getting to watch Kaela and Jonathan from the side lines go from dating to engaged to married has been such a sweet experience and memory I'll have forever.
I had the greatest honor in getting to fly out west to Spokane, WA to photograph Kaela and Jonathan's special day. This day had been anticipated by every single guest at their wedding, which was all of their closest family and friends. Everyone there was just overflowing with joy and relief that these two are finally married after dating for nearly 5 years!
I think it's such a beautiful thing that I get to photograph the beginning of two lives joining together as one and the start of a family.... and it's exactly the word "family" that comes to mind when I think of Kaela and Jonathan. Not only their wedding but their entire lives have always been so focused and centered on Christ and Christ-loving FAMILY. It was truly such a sweet wedding to be apart of and witness.
These two mean an extra special amount to me since I've gotten to watch their love grow and develop and mature. Getting married young is a beautiful thing to me because they get to continue to grow up and figure things out together, as best friends. Love you K and Jonathan! Congratulations on making it to marriage and having a beautiful day!

I had the privilege of first meeting and photographing Rachel and Tom for their engagement session in Philadelphia back in the fall of 2015. Right away I could see their sweet love for each other, and that we would make a great team! Photographing their Valentine's day wedding was such an honor and joy. Here are a few from their special day! Thanks for letting me document your day Rachel & Tom!
My first 2016 wedding was with Julie and Zach for their January Winter Wonderland wedding. Oh, how I love this couple! Their love for Jesus and one another is truly inspiring. I consider myself quite blessed to have been able to take part in one of the most important days of their lives by photographing it. The first time we shot together was for their engagement session (see here for their engagement session) in Summer 2015. I knew right away that we would make a great team in taking pictures together. Not only are they such a sweet couple, but I get to call them my sweet friends. Later on in fall, I had the privilege of photographing Julie's family for family portraits in Bucks County. I was all the more excited for the wedding after meeting and photographing the wonderful Waldon family (see here for Waldron Family Session). Zach's family is a family that is close to my heart; I grew up with Zach and his sister Kelsey. It's always such an incredible thing for me to be able to photograph and work professionally with those who are close my heart. Getting to document Zach and Julie on there wedding day was special for me; watching a long-time family friend marry his high school sweetheart was truly a beautiful thing. Zach and Julie and both of their families are truly amazing, and I am honored to have taken a part in their special day! To the newly weds: Zach.....Julie.... Your love is inspiring. Love you guys!
Here are some of their wedding photos from January 2nd, 2016.
